How come its okay for children to put up with secondhand cigarette smoke but marijuana is illegal?
I dont smoke weed around most kids anyways, so i dont think weed is a drug to use around children too much.
But cigarettes are okay to use around kids. Most people who smoke cigs have done it before around them. Then some of them who smoke cigarettes act as if weed is a demon plant from hell. people have been brainwashed by the lies people spit out about marijuana.
Now i know that im gonna get some naive, watered down answer that doesnt show true facts and statistics that completely proves that weed is “addictive” or “a gateway drug,” or deadly.
So those of you out there that are naive to the true facts (because many out there are), the next time you see someone smoking a cigarette around a kid, or the next time you see someone getting sloppy drunk around a child, be as harsh on them about their LEGAL BUT DANGEROUS use of legal drugs around kids as much as you are about weed smokers: a drug that is basically harmless. Have a wonderful day.

How many of you all still boil bottles, and water for your baby?
I was told that u didn’t have to do either in fact i use nursery water for the bottles and the dishwasher to wasth them. But with my first child i had to boil everything theres only a 3 year difference
There is no need to boil water. Municipal tap water is safe for everyone, including babies. In fact, many bottle waters (disani, etc…) are actually from regular tap water. I would, however, recommend using a dishwasher for the bottles.
Make sure that the formula is at room temperature before you give it to your baby. Babies are more sensitive to instabilities of temperature, so cold formula could decrease your babies core temp.
Also, when you mix the formula, it can only be used for a short period (a few hours) before bacteria begins to grow, regardless of the source of water.
