How do you take care of fresh water fish?
I caught some small fresh water fish in a local picnic of mine =) Now I have put the fish in some creek water next door but the questions are what do you feed the fish? Do I continue to use creek water?
I agree with the Answer above me! Please put them back. wild fish you caught are not meant to be kept as pets. it could mess up the enviornment too. Plus the fish are most likely to die. Please release the fish

There Are Other Ways To Add Water To Your Body Without Drinking Water
If you have made a decision to get more water into your body for health or have just got over a sickness like stomach flu, there are a few different techniques for properly hydrating the body. Drink clear, clean water is one strategy but many people do not like the taste which causes them to skip this step. This is one of the best ways but not the only way of getting water into the body.
First of all, get rid of drinks and foods that will take water out of the body. Sugar filled drinks, drinks with caffeine, and alcoholic drinks will not be good for hydration. Generally speaking these take out more water than they put into the body. If you do drink these, you will literally have to drink water as well just to make up for them to get back to where you originally were.
Food is a huge source of water. Fresh fruits and vegetables especially contain quite a bit of water. While you aren’t drinking the water it is inside the food. If it’s fresh and raw more water will be in it than if you cook or steam them as this causes some of the water to leave. If you don’t like raw fruits and vegetables consider soups that are high in water content that will help. Alternatively look at blending or juicing these which will get all the water content in them with quite a bit of the nutrients as well.
Another strategy is to drink drinks that are especially made for hydration. Sports drinks very low in calories with sodium in them and electrolytes are good for this especially after something like the flu where the body is lacking water. Just be careful to not drink too many calories and cause weight gain as a side effect.
Hydration is important but some do not like drinking plain water. There are some other techniques like sports drinks and foods that will help increase hydration. Avoid caffeine, sugars, and alcohol will help keep the water you already have.

What do I need to raise fresh water fish?
I recently received a 55 gal tank and want to raise some fresh water fish. All I have right now is a filter. What else would I need?Do I need a UV light and air pump?Also would I need another filter?

Depends,I know this might sound boring,but you have to agree it’s low maintenance and cheap.If you fill it with feeder Guppies(best to start a tank with to establish your bacterial load because they are only 15c a piece or so and you will probably have some deaths in a new tank unless you can get seasoned water somewhere from a good disease free source) or regular Guppies all you would need is the gravel and a vacuum to do a partial clean and 1/3 water change once every month and a half.Room temperature is adequate for Guppies and you don’t need a heater.They can handle the worst water quality too.I have raised and bred guppies in a plain old tank set up like this for over 10 years with no diseases and long lives.
