I’m 15. I have a class that involves working in a preschool for a block. I am in an area called ‘Science’. My friend, who is supposed to think of half of the ideas for games but (to my dismay) She has bunked the class for three days straight, So I have to think of all these things by myself >< I need some help...Idea's maybe?

- Use scales and tape measures to weigh and measure the circumference of pumpkins. You could make a simple chart (like a t-chart to compare two pumpkins) for the children to record their findings.

- Bring in a variety of leaves. Introduce students to three leave margins: smooth, toothed, and lobed. Have the children sort the leaves by leaf margin types. Then they could glue the leaves to paper to form a shape.

- Bring in soil, small pots, and corn seeds. Have the children plant corn just as the Indians taught the pilgrims to do.

- Use an air popper to pop corn with your class. Before you pop the popcorn let your children feel the kernels and describe how they feel. Have your children feel the popped kernels and compare them to the unpopped.

- Set out and label a variety of bird feathers in your science area. Encourage your children to use magnifying glasses examine the different bird feathers.

- Make instant pumpkin pudding. Have each child mix mix two tablespoons pumpkin pie filling, two tablespoons marshmallow crème, and one tablespoon whipped topping. Write out the directions with both words and pictures and display them for your children to follow.
