Where should I work this summer? 15 female?
I was thinking big surf or sun splash (water parks in arizona) but i dont like the fact that ou have to be out in the sun all day, and plus im not that great a swimmer plus they pay minimum wage and i cant wear make up and my hair doesnt look good wet
then i thought jambe juice but im not old enough until june and i have a month free to work
then i thought a clothes place but again you have to be 16
where is a fun place in arizona where a 15 year old can work and pays well?

I’m afraid all you will get is minimum wage, but you can begin to build up work experience. You acknowledged that you ar enot fnd of being in the sun all day, hair & make-up, etc. Stay far away from any of those swim parks then!
I do know that Food City, Fry’s, Safeway, Albertson’s will hire at 15. But you’ll most likely bag groceries and fetch carts.
Your local library may be hiring for someone to stack the shelves and sort books. Perhaps local privately owned businesses or shops may hire. Maybe even a local doctor’s office may be looking for an assistant to file, make phone calls, or general office work.
I know you are looking for fun, but also know that you need a strong work ethic as well in order to be hired! Best of luck to you.

Why do you think Americans have migrated south and west and are leaving the North and Midwest?
Almost ever since the inception of America the population has been moving more southerly and more easterly. As an example, when Washington DC was founded the center of population (sometimes called the centroid) was very near Washington DC but, over time, it drifted and is currently in the middle of Missouri.
1) Work: Are people moving for jobs? What kind of jobs are emerging in the South and West of this country? What kind of jobs are available in the North and Midwest?
2) Climate: 100 years ago it would have been nearly impossible to find a major city in Arizona. After all, it’s very hot and very dry – where are people going to find water? What has changed?
3) Transportation: Car ownership has increased dramatically in America over the last 40 years, especially among the poorest Americans.
1. The search for work is the primary reason for the population shifting.
Migration has always been prompted by the search for jobs, wealth and the possibility of a better life. First the Appalachians, then the Ohio River Valley, then the Great Plains, Texas, and California. The motive was always the same, fame, fortune, prosperity.
Climate has actually become less of an incentive, because of air conditioning, communication, internationalized business opportunities, and other modern amenities. People don’t have to even leave their home to interact anymore, so it doesn’t really matter where you are. Heat or cold are no longer significant variables.
Transportation improvements also tend to decrease their own influence. Sure it’s easier to move away, but it’s also easier then to move back. It’s not a cause of the migration, but it does facilitate it and allow it to happen faster.
