does anyone know about irrigation systems?
i am looking to see if there is anywhere that i coud look to see where all there are heads at my house. also when i turn the water on to it, water just shoots out of this meter type thing on the exterior of the house… GRACIAS
Tough question. Sound like your talking about a central sprinkler system. The heads should be visible on the top of the grass or in it. the meter looking thing I am assuming is the pressure release, but not sure. Are there any valves that you see? I would try to set the valves to stop the water flow but I am sure you have already thought of that. Lastly the valve could be broken, had to replace mine once.

Can I use water flow meter for measuring diesel flow ?
I have conventional gear train type water flow meter for consumption of water in Kilo liter with least count 10 liters.
You may want to check the capability of the seals and gaskets to withstand some solvent effect of the Diesel fuel. On a strictly volume basis, a liter or a gallon of one liquid is no different than another. On a weight basis the comparative specific weights will need to be accounted for.
