Is it possible to get water marks out of an oak effect table?
I live in a rented flat, and had my fish tank on the oak effect dining table. Moving the fish tank however I have noticed a dark stain left where the tank was – I imagine this is a water mark. Is there a way of removing this or is it stained for forever?
I had a sheet of polystyrene underneath the fish tank, and have never had previous furniture stained by the tank so not sure why it stained this time (maybe it is something to do with the wood only be oak effect rather than solid).
You can’t really sand down a fake wood table. You’re stuck with the stain.
