What should I expect in this full body check up/kidney issues?
On March 7th I found a blood clot on my leg witch was later confirmed by the ER doctor. He also did blood work and one thing he told me was that the levels in my kidney’s are quite high and to drink more water, but I drink as much water as I can already.
Some symptoms I have been having are need to pee more, pee a lot darker, pain just below rib cage, a lot more tired, trouble concentrating. Those are just a few. I had blood work done yesterday to get my kidneys tested again.
My doctor called today and wants to talk to me about my blood work and do a check up? My question is what do you think is wrong with me and what do you think my doctor will do in this exam? Also if my doctor happens to want to do a pelvic exam do I have the right to decline?
Oh and by the way I am a 16 year old female, who weighs 124. Besides this I only have problems with my back and knees.
Tests to check kidney function
When kidney function is decreased, substances such as urea, creatinine, and certain electrolytes begin to build up in the bloodstream. The following blood and urine tests measure changing levels of these substances in the bloodstream and can help estimate how well your kidneys are working.
* A fasting blood glucose test is done to measure your blood sugar. High blood sugar levels damage blood vessels in the kidneys.
* A blood test measures your levels of electrolytes, which are filtered out of the body by the kidneys. Altered levels of electrolytes, such as sodium and potassium, may mean the kidneys are not functioning adequately.
* A blood test for parathyroid hormone (PTH) checks the level of PTH in the blood. PTH helps control calcium and phosphorus levels in the blood. A high parathyroid hormone level can be caused by conditions that lead to low blood calcium levels, such as chronic kidney disease.
* Urine tests, such as urinalysis (UA) and random urine test for microalbumin, measure the amount of protein in the urine. Normally there is little or no protein in urine. Kidney disease can cause increased protein in the urine.

There are two methods for treatment as follows
1. Non-surgery method which is divided into the drug therapy and the arrangement of structure balance. The physical therapy, an exercise for increasing the strength of the thigh, how to use walking aid equipment and an equipment for preserving knee.There is also new treatment, such as injection method in the joints of knee for adding moisten water to the knee together with the muscles development in particular to relieve the pain of osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis) and increase movement in the joints of knee as well as to reduce the impact and lubricate the joints of knee any more.
In summary
it is will slow the degeneration of the cartilage and reduce the conditions of the cartilage deterioration, too.
2. Surgery method (Arthroplasty) is the surgery for changing an artificial knee joints or Surgery method is the Arthroplasty and the straight leg surgery.
In the case of frozen shoulder, physicians also said “frozen shoulder is often found in women more than men in the proportion 60:40 and often occurred with the arms not in more use by being divided into 3 phases.
First, starting from the pain in shoulder, having congestion symptoms and feeling the pain every time movement and finally, the recovery phase the pain symptom is gradually reduced.
In summary
The physical recovery of frozen shoulder symptoms needs to stretch the cell membrane of shoulder joints and increase the motion of shoulder joints by using the environment as a wizard, such as beams, stairs, room walls etc.

You may have some kinda kidney or liver disease. Dark colored pee(Brownish), fatigue and the pain around belly are sometimes caused by liver diseases.
That you have to pee more often(especially more than 3 times at night) could be a sign of kidney disease.

Yes, you do. You always have right to decline any kind of tests or treatments.
I dont think he would do pelvic exam tho….

If the doctor found abnormality in your blood he would probably wanna do biopsy. However if it was serious he would ask you to come in the same day he called you so i dont think it was that serious.
Don’t worry too much. Drink a lot of water like your doctor said and wait for the result.
