1. Dissolved oxygen is what is breathed by marine animals such as fish. Without oxygen in the water, they would not be able to survive
2. There a several water quality kits that can be used to test water quality. You can google any of these and order them online
3. If quality is not checked and improved regularly, then the water could easily become dangerous. Fish, plants, and other aquatic animals require specific conditions in order to survive, and poor water quality endangers them.
4. Aquatic animals can only tolerate a certain ph level in water; this is called tolerance. If the water is too acidic or basic, it will have the same effects on aquatic creatures as a strong acid would have on a human.
